DadKit

Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

DadKit is built with privacy in mind. We don't want your data — we want to help you buy the right baby gear. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. Plausible doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't collect any personal data. All data is aggregated — we see page views and general trends, never individual users.

Because Plausible doesn't use cookies, we don't need a cookie consent banner. You're welcome.

Quiz answers

Your quiz answers are encoded in the URL of your results page (e.g. /results?loc=city&car=none&...). They are never sent to any server or stored in any database. Everything runs in your browser.

Affiliate links

When you click a product link, you'll be taken to a retailer's website. That retailer may set their own cookies and track your visit according to their own privacy policy. We have no control over or access to that data.

Local storage

We store a single preference in your browser's localStorage: your light/dark theme choice. That's it. No tracking, no user IDs, no session data.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, user agents) as part of delivering the site to your browser. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
